First time trying this spot, got the 1 piece fish and chips. Delicious ! Light and not too greasy. Fries that taste like real potatoes . Tartar sauce yummy ! Fair prices 12.50 (plus tax)

The BEST fries in town... bar none! Loads of delicious gravy, right to the bottom of the dish, and generous portions. We love the Newfoundland fries (a taste of home!!) and the Poutine. The owner is very friendly, and courteous to customers. The small wait for your food is absolutely worth it if there is a line up. Don't pass it by!! If you haven't already found this gem in K-W, go try it out. You will have found your "go to" place... Home made burgers, fish & chips, sausage, and chicken are on the menu as well.

I have been waiting for three years to get this review in. Going to Dave’s is like visiting your favourite BBQ grilling uncle. I was greeted like family, the place is welcoming, comforting, no frills and serves fresh, piping hot homemade fare. It’s specially a treat during summer days, when the sky is blue and it’s sunny outside, to sit on the picnic benches and have David’s food. I had their fries, no toppings, and they were golden, crispy and just the perfect comfort food, the kind that warms your soul up a little from the inside too. The fries were accompanied with fresh homemade milkshakes, that were delicious, perfectly sweetened and not too heavy. Their chicken tenders are great too! Overall, loved the casual, laid back experience and the generous portion sizes. Will definitely visit over and over again whenever I’m missing home.

Ordered a classic and Newfoundland poutine. The gravy is the best part of this meal. The fries are cooked well. The cheese curds weren't very squeaky but I wasn't able to eat it right away so it might have melted during my drive to my destination. I would eat here again as the prices are reasonable, the service was nice and the food was good.

It was my first time coming here, and it will not be the last. The fries were so incredibly delicious, very warm and gone within 15 minutes between the 4 of us for a family size and a medium fry. Even without anything on them, they are amazing but you can add on different options as well and they are still incredible
